Founded in 2015, our mission has and always will be to create awareness about Alaska’s unique agriculture and celebrate the men and women who tamed the Last Frontier to feed their friends and neighbors.
If you are looking for Anchorage Day Trips that are fun and informational and get you out to see Alaskan Farms, look no further than Alaska Farm Tours. This intimate tour of no more than 14 people at a time will meet at at 76 S. Valley Way Palmer AK, 99645. The tour runs M, Wed, Thurs from 9am-1pm for the morning tour, and 2pm-6pm for the afternoon tour. From the pickup location, tour participants will take a walking tour of the Palmer Grow program and visit the gardens of the Palmer Art Museum and Historical Center for an introduction in the variety of plants grown in Alaska’s fertile soils. From there tour participants will visit three farms and conclude with eating a brown bag lunch at one of the beautiful vista farms.
