Celebrate summer, Palmer-style! Colony Days is a summer favorite for locals and visitors alike, filled with fun for everyone.

Entertain yourself with fun activities for the whole family. We'll be hosting comical bed races, family friendly activities and other fun events! Peruse the maker's market, where you'll find a great variety of food, and the finest locally made Alaskan crafts. And definitely don't miss our Colony Days Parade!

Colony Days Parade

Let's have a parade! The Colony Days Parade, sponsored by NIT and UMV, will take place Saturday, June 8th, at 11am in Downtown Palmer! This year's theme is "Harvest of Gold", so be sure to come out and sfind a great spot and to view the Parade, and enjoy! Can't make the parade in-person? Bed Races

A time-honored tradition! Gather your team of five and enter the weekend's most comical race. Teams will push a bed with one rider down the track, stopping at different pit stops for their rider to accomplish zany tasks as quickly as possible to get back on the road! Hilarity ensues.
